Totapuri - King of Mango Pulp Industry Arrives

The month started on a depressing note as the fruit arrivals are low and the opening price is high! As it was conspicuous in the last month already that the Totapuri mango yield is just about 30-40% of the normal harvest! Come mid June and we expect splurging arrivals of Totapuri mangoes for processing....but still arrivals are low....prices are northwards due to the broad gap between demand and supply. Good rainfall this time is impeding the ripening & processing at the factories. 

However, one thing to be content with is the Quality. The quality of Totapuri mango pulp this year is superior with signal flavour, bright colour and brix well above 14 degree. Sigh! Some reason to keep up the spirits....Cheers! Booking of orders is slow, as the customers expect the prices to come down.
